The Process Improvement Analyst provides support to the Patient Services department by facilitating the deployment of current/new processes and technology.  Responsible for the development and ongoing management of key metrics related to improvements in Patient Services.  Works with other departments to drive cross-collaborative projects to completion.

Key Competencies:

  • Makes recommendations for integrating initiatives in partnership with various departments to drive projects to completion.
  • Assists in the identification, selection, scope and execution of projects; utilizing Key Process Indicators and uniform Process and Change methodologies.
  • Develops key metrics, baseline analysis, as well as any new type of analysis required to determine value of process improvement changes.
  • Measures process performance against developed requirements then aligns improvement to performance shortfalls and operational inefficiencies.
  • Identifies indicators for future improvement opportunities and implements process change requirements based on critical project needs.
  • Assists with the creation of project plans and documentation to support the management of process improvement projects.
  • Works across multiple business departments to implement new processes that increase customer satisfaction.
  • Performs data analysis in support of process improvement initiatives; from start (gap analysis) to finish (post-mortem analysis).
  • Develops executive summary of findings and recommendations.
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of healthcare landscape specific to DME
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity


  • Operates at a task level.
  • Substantial supervision required.
  • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics or related field, required
  • 3 years' experience in process improvement work, utilizing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen), tools, and techniques, required
  • Six Sigma certification or equivalent, preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Visio, required.
  • A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Working Conditions:

  • Position is office based, travel may be required occasionally to our CA and OH locations (10%)
