JOB DESCRIPTION 

The Human Resources Manager TX OPS, is responsible for the administration of the company's Human Resources policies and programs for the Texas Manufacturing Operation team. Ensuring programs align with company business objectives and meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective. Counsels with site management and works with internal Human Resources functional leaders to develop integrated solutions to meet sire specific human resources needs.

Key Competencies:

  • Partner with site management to assess current and future Human Resources needs and aligns Human Resources programs with business objectives.
  • Administers Human Resources policies and programs for all site-based employees.
  • Works with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure all site resource needs are understood and met with high quality personnel in a timely manner; supports the onboarding of newly hired employees.
  • Counsels site management on all aspects of human capital utilization including organization engagement, training and development, communications, performance management, etc.
  • Works with Corporate Compensation Manager to ensure the company total rewards policy is understood and properly administered.
  • Serves as the liaison between the employee and their manager to foster a healthy working relationship and open communication when direct interactions have failed and/or are inappropriate under the circumstances.
  • Works with Training Managers to assess management training needs and deliver training as required.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the Human Resources leadership group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Provides guidance and advice to Managers on the effective handling and resolution of difficult employee relations issues; conducts thorough investigations, reviews all disciplinary actions, including terminations, to ensure proper documentation and consistency with company policy.
  • Works with corporate Human Resources Manager to assist with the administration of Leave of Absence (LOA) requests for site personnel in compliance with State and Federal laws; coordinates return to work assignments.
  • Conducts termination/exit interview meetings with Managers to ensure professionalism, respect and legal compliance on the part of Inogen.
  • Oversees and actively supports all site-specific employee events and celebrations.
  • Responsible for managerial functions of Texas based Human Resources team hiring, evaluating, developing, etc.
  • Provides on-going ideas for improvement to enhance the company's corporate culture and ensure company core values are maintained.
  • Stays current with Human Resources trends and best practices.
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and local labor laws and regulations.

  • Experience with databases, including HRIS systems.
  • In depth knowledge of Federal and State labor laws includ9ing EEOC/Title VII and Affirmative Action Requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organization Behavior, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
  • 7+ years professional level Human Resources experience in a corporate and/or manufacturing operations environment, required.
  • 1-2 years' experience as a Human Resources Manager in a corporate environment with at least 500 employees, preferred.
  • Professional Human Resources Certification, preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing company experience in an FDA regulated industry, preferred.
  • Prior experience working for a publicly traded company, preferred.
  • Prior experience in a high growth company, preferred
  • A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Work Conditions:

  • Office Environment.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
