The IT Client Services Manager role is responsible for all aspects of providing end user support to Inogen employees at all Inogen facilities worldwide, including IT workstation HW, SW & peripherals, telephone handsets & accessories, corporate mobile phones, network & email user accounts, new hire provisioning, terminations, deskside support and remote support.  Recommends, implements, and maintains the IT client workstations and peripherals at all Inogen facilities worldwide.  Manages staff including IT supervisors, technicians and/or administrators.  The IT Client Services Manager reports to the IT department Director.

Key Competencies:

  • Supervise assigned direct reports in the IT department, including hiring, creation of task plans & individual goals, performance management, time-keeping and attendance.
  • Plan, recommend, design, procure, implement and manage all aspects of the Inogen IT client SW & HW, including IT workstation HW, SW & peripherals, telephone handsets & accessories, corporate mobile phones and other personal/departmental IT resources.
  • Manage vendor partners providing IT client products & services.
  • Design, create, document, implement and manage IT operational processes for the IT client services group.
  • Create and monitor performance metrics of the IT client services group to ensure required service levels are met to meet the needs of the business.
  • Lead projects to enhance or implement new IT client capabilities.
  • Support business initiatives requiring use of the IT client resources and/or implementation of new components and technologies.
  • Ensure the Inogen IT client resources comply with all regulatory laws and industry best practices.
  • Plan & implement industry best practices for information security.
  • Support internal & external audits of the IT resources.
  • Create IT client solutions that balance performance, availability, reliability, supportability, security and cost.
  • Review and approve purchases of IT infrastructure products and services.

Do you possess these abilities?

  • Strong background in corporate-level IT client technologies (Required)
  • Proven ability to manage a large, distributed, corporate IT helpdesk. (Required)
  • Ability to lead large corporate IT system implementation projects at an enterprise level (Required)
  • Knowledge of enterprise telecommunications technologies used in on-premise and cloud VoIP systems. (Required)
  • Deep knowledge of installation and configuration of enterprise IT workstation HW & SW such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Adobe Acrobat, internet web browsers, Sonicwall VPN client, Shoretel Connect and similar technologies. (Required)
  • Deep knowledge of configuration and administration of IT infrastructure software systems such as Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory, file/print servers, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server and similar technologies (Required)
  • Deep knowledge of configuration and management of enterprise cloud IT systems such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Centrify Single Sign-On, Carbonite enterprise backup, Webroot malware protection and similar technologies (Required)
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley General Computer Controls, COBIT, NIST and other industry best practices for information security and risk management (Required)
  • Proven ability to manage distributed teams of IT technical staff and 3rd party vendor partners (Required)
  • Fluent in MS Project, Excel and other MS Office applications (Required)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (Required)
  • Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, and conflict resolution (Required)
  • Proven leadership ability with an emphasis on accountability and conflict management (Required)
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills (Required)
  • Experience with implementation and support of enterprise IT business systems such as Oracle EBusiness Suite,, Microsoft Office 365 or similar systems. (Desired)



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 7+ yrs working in a corporate IT client support role required
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management position within a corporate IT department required:
  • Microsoft, ITIL, HDI or similar certifications highly desired
  • A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Up to 100% of their time will be spent working on the computer, reading, typing, and training/meeting with others.
  • This position requires the employee to work from within an Inogen facility. At the discretion of the employee's manager, an occasional and limited amount of work may be done remotely, however all remote work must be approved in advance.
  • This position may require working hours outside 8AM-5PM and may also include hours on Saturday and/or Sunday.
  • This position may require occasional air travel to other Inogen facilities for multiple days.
