Job Description

Our Electrical Engineers are responsible for continual improvement and ongoing support of our in production PCA's, while focusing on supporting the Sr. Electrical Engineer.  Cost reduction, design improvements, increased reliability and manufacturability are areas of expertise for the successful candidates.

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to work with PCA manufacturers to reduce cost, improve supply chain by providing alternate components to our production products.
  • Ability to utilized printed circuit layout and schematic capture tools to provide design support
  • Ability to determine and execute design improvement opportunities for increased reliability
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external team members

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand the various functions of Inogen electronics
  • Ability to solder using a microscope and perform general assembly
  • Experience with manufacturing test engineering requirements including test procedures, test fixture design and test fixture verification.
  • Experience writing design documentation, including specifications, verification procedures and test reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related area
  • 2+ years' experience designing medical or consumer products desirable
