JOB DESCRIPTION 

The Billing Training and Project Administrator I is responsible for ensuring training needs are being met. This role will be expected to support to all rental revenue functional areas as needed. This includes employee QA, reporting analysis, root causing issues, and special projects as directed by management. The successful person will meet or exceed overall department goals and will carry out Inogen's values.

Key Competencies:

  • Conducts New Hire training classes, and assist with on-going training for existing staff as needed
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, housing, and the delivery of training material to the billing team
  • Ensure employees are meeting/exceeding QA standards by working with department leadership team
  • Assist with External & Internal Audits on an as needed basis for Medicare and Commercial Insurances
  • Reports/Analytics as needed
  • Builds custom reports to seek out possible issues and works with management to address issues timely
  • Assist the billing team with any special projects as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Do you possess these abilities?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • A comprehensive understanding of Medicare & Insurance program rules is required
  • Thorough understanding of Brightree, Salesforce, and New Voice Media
  • Must be very detail-oriented and analytical
  • Ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have the ability to quickly resolve high volume issues
  • Able to conduct employee training and ensure QA standards are being upheld
  • Able to adapt to change very quickly
  • Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups, management, and executive leadership
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and Power Point presentations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Medicare and insurance billing and/or collections experience, preferably for oxygen or HME
  • Preferred 1 years of Brightree experience.
  • Preferred 1 years training and QA experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point presentations
  • Behavior consistent with Inogen Core Values
  • Able to travel up to 25% a year
